Learn M&A from the inside. Get paid to run the part that matters most.
Every business sale has a moment where it either funds or falls apart. Slow lender. Missed deadline. A document nobody tracked. Most brokerages lose deals there and call it normal. We built a company on the belief that it isn't.
Dealonomy is a technology-driven M&A platform for businesses in the $1M to $50M range. We signed 19 deals worth $107 million last quarter, our lead volume is about to multiply, and we only get paid when deals close. Which means the person who runs our closing process isn't support staff. They're the last mile of every dollar this company earns.
That's the seat we're hiring.
Why the best process person you know would want this job
You'll learn an industry most people never see inside. SBA financing, purchase agreements, due diligence, valuations, how a business actually changes hands. Ten to twenty live deals at once means you'll absorb more M&A in one year than most people see in five. We'll teach you all of it. What we can't teach is what you bring.
You'll build the machine, not just run it. We're a year old and scaling fast. The closing playbook you write becomes how this company closes deals at 10x volume. Your checklists, your systems, your process. Builders here don't inherit bureaucracy. They create what comes next.
Your work is the scoreboard. Deals funded per month. Percentage of accepted offers reaching close. Days from LOI to wire. No politics, no ambiguity about whether you're good. When a deal funds, a seller retires and a buyer's life changes, and you're the reason it happened on time.
You'll work directly with the deal team. Our office is in Boerne, and this seat is in it. You'll sit with the founders and advisors running the deals, not three layers away from them. Small team, fast decisions, real ownership.
What You'll Do
Who thrives here
You've run complex, multi-party projects to hard deadlines: lending pipelines, commercial closings, legal transactions, construction schedules, implementations. You've built checklists and SOPs that outlived you. You keep 15 workstreams straight without dropping one, you write things down like it's a reflex, and being the most organized person in the room is just true, not a brag. Business acquisition experience, SBA 7(a) knowledge, or having bought or sold a business yourself puts you at the front of the line, but the builder muscle matters more than the industry resume.
Local to Boerne or San Antonio strongly preferred. This seat works best inside the deal team.
Not a fit: residential transaction coordination alone, back-office file review or audit work, or sales. This job drives deals to a date. It doesn't sell them and it doesn't grade them afterward.
Dealonomy exists to engineer dream lives through business ownership and exits. We're a venture-backed M&A platform that makes buying and selling businesses in the $1M to $50M revenue range faster, smoother, and more certain. Our proprietary technology and expert deal team handle everything from valuation to funded close, connecting owners with serious, vetted buyers. And our model keeps us honest: we only get paid when deals close. Backed by a $3M seed round and built by experienced brokers and operators, we're a small team moving fast in a massive market.
