One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford - a complex high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard soft and technical FM services. A great opportunity to join the asset and engineering team at Northwood HQ in the position of On-Site M&E Technician with an electrical bias. This key post is a static role joining a multi-disciplined team of technicans providing hard services maintenance and reactive services to the client. As a M&E Technician Electrical you will Perform PPMs statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigationsrepairs on but not limited to the Low Voltage electrical systems on site Service test diagnose and repair process control systems and automatic control devices related to the building services plant and equipment Liaise assist with other services as necessary for the efficient delivery of work activities workmanship and productivity to comply with the performance standards Use provided test and monitoring equipment for the purpose of maintaining engineering system operational performance and to aid fault diagnostics and repair interrogate and adjust systems to maintain correct operation of plant and equipment Interrogate and adjust systems to maintain correct operation of plant and equipment Carry out electrical mechanical and system checks associated with maintaining a compliant environment in the relevant areas in accordance with current legislation What youll bring to the role NVQ Level 23 or equivalent including recognised apprenticeship with an electrical bias Excellent team working and problem solving capabilities Must be able to fully satisfy the Client security clearance minimum requirements SC Working knowledge of other building services and trades Experience of Engineering Services Maintenance Qualified electrician 18th edition Experience of complex electrical installations including UPS and Generators - desirable Work experience in a MOD environment and compliance with MOD Safe Systems of Work JSP375 Vol 3 - Desirable What we offer 247 digital GP service for you and your family Financial wellbeing and employee assistance Professional development Enhanced family benefits including maternity paternitydependants and parental bereavement leave Inclusion and Diversity We thrive through embracing differences as we know that diversity opens a rich potential for new ways of thinking helping us to build successful and high-performing teams.
