Treasure Coast Community Health is a well-established and highly respected Federally Qualified Health Center seeking a dedicated and compassionate MA/ Medical Assistant to support our patient care team in delivering excellence in clinical care across our seven medical sites.

This position is a float role and will travel among TCCH locations based on daily staffing needs.

Position Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and patients, including:

  • Updating and maintaining electronic health records (EHR)
  • Educating patients on treatments, medications, and follow-up care
  • Preparing and stocking exam rooms
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clinical cleanliness standards
  • Checking and recording vital signs
  • Administering injections and medication treatments
  • Assisting providers with procedures and patient care
  • Supporting efficient patient flow and quality service delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 6 months related experience preferred
  • Combination of medical assistant work experience and related education strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
  • Strong communication and patient service skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple clinic locations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish candidates will receive top consideration
