General Summary of Position

Performs a variety of support services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies procedures quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.Assists in maintaining office systems. Organizes and files information reports and correspondence.Participates in meetings and on committee and represents the department and hospital in community outreach efforts as required.Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams.Performs other duties as assigned.Prepares bills for billers. Counts the number of bills totals each bill and logs by hospital for supervisor on a daily basis.Responds to requests for information and assistance in a timely manner.Sorts prioritizes date stamps and distributes all incoming mail for assigned area. Minimal Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED Current enrollment required

Experience

• Less than 1 year 6 months clerical/office experience preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Ability to sort organize and file.
• Ability to provide customer service to diverse customer base.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $18.40 - USD $29.74 /Hr.
