Machine Assembly Technician (Skilled) Location: Marion, IN Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: $27–$31/hour (based on experience) Direct Hire
Pro Resources is partnering with a reputable manufacturing company in Marion, IN to hire a skilled Machine Assembly Technician. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical experience who can confidently assemble, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assemble and build industrial machinery from blueprints and technical drawings
Perform rebuilds, repairs, and mechanical adjustments on existing equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Read and interpret schematics, layouts, and installation instructions
Conduct testing, alignment, and final machine checkouts
Occasionally travel for installation, service, or repair work
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in machine assembly, equipment building, or industrial maintenance
Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic electrical components
Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel as needed
