Job Description

Machine Assembly Technician (Skilled)
Location: Marion, IN
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: $27-$31/hour (based on experience)
Type: Direct Hire

Pro Resources is partnering with a reputable manufacturing company in Marion, IN to hire a skilled Machine Assembly Technician. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical experience who can confidently assemble, troubleshoot, and repair complex machinery with minimal supervision.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assemble and build industrial machinery from blueprints and technical drawings
  • Perform rebuilds, repairs, and mechanical adjustments on existing equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret schematics, layouts, and installation instructions
  • Conduct testing, alignment, and final machine checkouts
  • Occasionally travel for installation, service, or repair work
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in machine assembly, equipment building, or industrial maintenance
  • Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic electrical components
  • Solid troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel as needed
