Machine Builder/Mechanical Assembly

We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder / Mechanical Assembler to assemble custom industrial machinery, piping systems, and mechanical equipment. This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working from blueprints and drawings, and experienced with pipe fitting, tube bending, brazing, soldering, and mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble custom industrial machinery and mechanical systems from blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, fabrication prints, and piping layouts.
• Install and assemble piping using stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, PVC, black iron, and other materials.
• Measure, cut, thread, fit, and install pipe and tubing.
• Perform tube bending, pipe fitting, brazing, and soldering.
• Assemble threaded, welded, brazed, soldered, fused, and cemented piping connections.
• Install pipe supports, brackets, clamps, hangers, and mechanical components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, saws, pipe cutters, and threading equipment.
• Rig, lift, position, and install equipment using chains, slings, shackles, and hoisting equipment.
• Perform mechanical assembly and equipment installation while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Builder, Mechanical Assembler, Pipefitter, Industrial Mechanic, or Equipment Assembler.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pipe fitting, tube bending, brazing, and/or soldering.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and fabrication prints.
• Experience assembling industrial machinery, equipment, or mechanical systems.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Rigging and material-handling experience preferred.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
