Schedule: Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Rotating Schedule

Job Duties

• Feed cardboard laminate into machines to create cartons
• Operate downline equipment including Cap Applicators, Cardboard Packers, Accumulators, and coders
• Monitor equipment performance and clear material jams as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate machine operating issues
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist mechanics with repairs
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Monitor raw materials and supplies to support production efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions
• Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Provide break and absence coverage for production team members as needed

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating manufacturing or production and machine equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.
• Familiarity with coders is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Downline Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
