Our client, an ML platform company, is hiring a remote Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead production ML work on recommendations and LLM-powered features. You'll move models from offline experiments into reliable, monitored, low-latency services that ship to real users.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production ML systems for recommendations and LLM features
- Own training pipelines, online serving, and offline-to-online evaluation
- Improve feature engineering, retrieval, and ranking infrastructure
- Partner with product and data teams to define metrics and measure impact
- Mentor junior ML engineers; raise the quality bar via code and design review
Requirements
- 5+ years of production ML engineering experience
- Strong Python and at least one ML framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Hands-on with retrieval, ranking, or recommender systems in production
- Experience with LLM-based features (RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning) preferred
- Comfort with cloud ML infra and online serving systems
