Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 7 months
• Pay Rate: $80.00 $85.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: If sitting in Chicago 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) in the Evanston office; if remote no need to come to office, unless asked by project team when needed for client meetings
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This role requires 4 years of experience in ML Engineering, knowledge graphs, Neo4j graph database, prompt engineering, RAG, vector DB, data engineering (PySpark/Spark SQL), and familiarity with AWS services such as EMR and EKS.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in setting up and operationalizing ML models
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS)
• Data Engineering using PySpark/Spark SQL using EMR compute
• Knowledge of SDLC, governance, and Agile/Scrum practices
• Ability to create data pipelines, test, debug, and monitor execution

Required Experience

• 4 years of experience in ML Engineering
• Experience with knowledge graphs and Neo4j graph database
• Experience with prompt engineering, RAG, and vector DB
• Experience with data engineering using PySpark/Spark SQL
• Familiarity with and hands-on experience using AWS services (e.g., EMR, EKS)
