Your journey to impactful work and rapid growth starts now\u2014be extraordinary at MANTECH!\n\n This is for a future opportunity\n \nMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.\n \nThe Machine Learning Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to support highly scalable machine learning-based applications, including both pipelines and services, processing large volumes of data. This role involves collaborating with Data Scientists to design tools and train models using data from across the enterprise to support mission and business functions.\n \nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\n Collaborate with cross-functional teams\u2014including data scientists, engineers, and architects\u2014to build machine learning models, training tools, and simulation environments that support business functions.\n \n\n Implement the full MLOps lifecycle to deploy, operationalize, scale, and manage automated machine learning models and analytical solutions.\n \n\n Develop and test ML applications according to requirements, running targeted experiments to optimize overall system performance.\n \n\n Train and embed machine learning models into applications using programming languages (Python, Java, R) and core libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn).\n \n\n Explore and visualize data to uncover key insights and identify specific factors that impact model accuracy and performance.\n \n\n Manage and deploy cloud-based ML services across major cloud computing environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n \n\n Follow Agile methodologies to deliver production-ready, highly testable code in small, efficient, and continuous iterations.\n \n\n \n \nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.\n \n\n Verifiable work experience defining and implementing data pipelines and machine learning algorithms.\n \n\n Proficiency in Agile Development and Git Operations.\n \n\n Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex technical documentation for machine learning systems.\n \n\n \nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n Experience with the Sponsor's primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.\n \n\n \nClearance Requirements:\n\n An active Secret clearance is required.\n \n\n \nPhysical Requirements:\n\n Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.\n \n\n Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.\n \n\n Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.\n \n\n Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.\n \n\n \nThe projected compensation range for this position is $128,800.00-$214,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
