Maintenance Technician

1st shift

• Install, maintain, modify, and repair all mechanical systems and associated equipment including electrical and controls
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of mechanical systems, including: pumps, valves, drive units, motors, polyurethane mix and metering units and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Utilize blueprints and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
• Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
• Must maintain production standards to meet internal and external customer demand
• Responsible for the accurate completion of all paperwork, transactions, tags, etc.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including: Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO), Machine Guarding/Bypassing Safety Controls, and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Journeyman classification preferred (not required)
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery
