Machine Maintenance Technician I (Entry Level)

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician supports the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment in a production environment. This role assists with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in industrial maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and production machinery
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Maintains the cleanliness and upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
• Assists in installation of equipment in multiple departments
• Maintains maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment
• Performs basic minor repairs, preventative maintenance and cleaning
• Other job duties and tasks as assigned

Skills and Specifications

• Interest in or exposure to industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments preferred.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Approachable and able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
• Drive for continuous learning and growth.
• Attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Clearly read, write, and comprehend English.

Education

• High School education or GED required.
• Additional education or certifications preferred

Salary Range: $21.30 - $23.00
