Job Duties

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on equipment and building.
• Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to identify the location of their problems.
• Dismantles and reassembles equipment that needs repair.
• Examines the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Assists others on their machines as needed.
• Acts as a liaison with vendors when necessary.
• Sets up machinery, makes the necessary adjustments, and monitors the equipment to be sure it is running efficiently and effectively.
• Performs emergency, scheduled, minor, and preventive maintenance on all machines and building.
• Observes all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO.
• Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

Experience Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Ability to read electrical; hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as necessary
• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices

What You Will Do

As a Machine Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Machine Maintenance Technician supports business operations by maintaining the equipment, machinery, and building systems required for productive daily work. This role requires technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
