Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is seeking an experienced Facilities & Machine Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for maintaining production machinery, facility systems, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have industrial maintenance experience and a strong background in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and facility-related issues.Job Responsibilities· Inspect buildings, grounds, and production equipment to identify maintenance needs and potential issues· Perform preventative and routine maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems· Install equipment, controls, and monitoring devices as needed· Perform forklift maintenance and coordinate repairs with outside vendors when necessary· Oversee lawn sprinkler systems and arrange outsourced repairs as needed· Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings· Perform minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs· Replace lighting, repair circuit breaker panels, and complete general facility maintenance· Respond quickly to safety concerns and equipment breakdowns· Lock out and tag equipment requiring repair· Maintain maintenance records and documentation· Obtain bids and coordinate outsourced repair projects· Complete parts and supply runs to support facility and production operations· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment· Perform other duties as assignedRequirements· Minimum of 2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment· Electrician's license highly preferred· Experience with manufacturing equipment, machine maintenance, welding, plumbing, electrical systems, and small engines· Knowledge of drills, presses, saws, compressors, CNC machines, hand tools, and power tools· Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and machine troubleshooting· Basic math and computer skills· Knowledge of safety practices and maintenance procedures· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping layouts, and technical manuals· Experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs· Ability to drive a vehicle with a trailer attached· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities· Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts· Must be able to pass a drug screen· Must be able to pass a background checkPhysical Requirements· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift· Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crawl, climb, and perform repetitive movements· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions· Comfortable working in confined spaces, elevated areas, and other challenging environmentsAdditional Information· Stable, long-term opportunity· Hands-on role supporting both facilities and manufacturing operations· Opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and systems· Growth potential within the organizationImportant Note – Safety Sensitive RoleThis position is classified as Safety Sensitive under Oklahoma law (O.S. § 63-427.8).
