Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician Location: Sugarland, TX Payrate: $23/hr to $25/hr on W2 Without benefits Shift: Monday thru Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm, occasional work on Saturday required
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of our equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in general mechanical maintenance, with a specialized background in electrical systems or welding/fabrication considered a major advantage. In this role, you will play a critical part in minimizing downtime and ensuring a safe, efficient operational environment.
Key Responsibilities General Mechanical & Facility Maintenance
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, conveyor systems, and facility infrastructure.
Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns swiftly to minimize production or operational downtime.
Manage work orders through our digital maintenance tracking system, accurately logging parts used and time spent.
Follow safety protocols strictly, including OSHA guidelines, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Electrical Responsibilities (Strong Plus)
Troubleshoot electrical components , including motors, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to safely isolate and resolve complex faults.
Assist with minor wiring installations and the replacement of faulty electrical hardware up to code.
