Adecco Staffing is partnering with a reputable manufacturing facility in Peterborough, NH to hire Grind Machine Operators for all shifts! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, depending on your level of machine operating experience. The position offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity to join a growing company.
Pay Rate:$18-$24 per hour, depending on experience and shift
Schedules Available:
1st Shift Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, OT available
2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3:15pm-11:45pm, OT available
3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 11:30pm-7:00am (paid for 8), OT available
Job Summary:
Operates grind machinery or utilizes equipment to produce components to specified dimensions and characteristics according to quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate 2 required internal/external grinding machines, including CNC machines, to produce a diversified range of parts on short or long run work, and exacting finish specifications. Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up cards and layout sheets (certified process or engineered cycles) to ensure parts are manufactured as ordered. Inprocess readings to ensure adherence to tolerance.
Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work.
Diagnose and correct operating difficulties, maintain required records, detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader.
Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.
Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties.
