We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to operate equipment used for applying conformal coating to electronic assemblies, as well as SMT Pick and Place, Through-Hole Component Insertion, Sequencing Machines, Wave Flow, and Reflow Solder Machines. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes at our Milwaukee facility.

SHIFT:Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements

  • Set up machinery according to documented specifications

  • Run products through machines with a focus on quality and efficiency

  • Navigate computer programs to locate assembly instructions

  • Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions

  • Correct defects when possible or route defective materials for rework or repair

  • Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities

  • Actively contribute as a positive, dependable team member

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Provide input to problem-solving processes and communicate effectively

  • Attendance is an essential function of this on-site role

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 3 to 6 months of related manufacturing experience

  • Ability to perform basic data entry transactions

  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English for clear communication and documentation

  • Basic math skills required (add, subtract, multiply, divide)

  • Ability to read and understand performance graphs

Certifications (Required or to be obtained):
  • Passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course

  • Passing score on the IPC Workmanship standards exam

Physical Requirements:
  • Work may involve sitting or standing, depending on the workstation

  • Frequent use of hands for handling or operating equipment; reaching with hands and arms

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly

  • Vision requirements include close and distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment:
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and occasionally toxic or caustic chemicals

  • Noise level is usually loud
