Machine Operator
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our production team in Loveland, CO. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Multiple shifts are available to meet production needs. The pay rate ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate industrial machinery according to specific production requirements and sequences.
- Quality Control: Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure operations conform to production or processing standards.
- Adjustments: Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine machinery maintenance and identify or troubleshoot technical issues.
- Inspection: Examine materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
- Data Entry: Accurately record production information into company systems.
- Compliance: Consistently follow all safety, conduct, sanitation, and attendance regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: High school graduate with at least 1 year of direct industrial experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow complex job orders and company procedures.
- Soft Skills: Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
- Efficiency: Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for several hours at a time.
- Mobility: Required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, reach, push, and pull.
- Lifting: Ability to safely lift, move, sort, and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Agility: Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Environment: Work occurs in an indoor manufacturing facility around moving and heated equipment, sometimes with extreme temperatures.
- Safety: P.P.E. gear is mandatory with no exceptions.
- Medical Notice: This role requires working near industrial equipment that can generate electromagnetic fields (EMF), which may affect certain implanted medical devices.
