Machine Saw Operator
Location: Coppell, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00hr - $19.00hr
Are you an experienced Machine Saw Operator who takes pride in accuracy and craftsmanship? Summit Staffing for 1st and 2nd shift to work in a fast-paced woodworking and manufacturing environment in Coppell, TX. This is a contract-to-hire role with opportunities to grow and work with cutting-edge equipment.
Shift:
What You’ll Do:
Operate TigerStop, panel, or automated saw equipment to cut materials to exact specifications
Read and follow blueprints, job sheets, and cutting plans
Set up, adjust, and perform minor maintenance on machinery
Measure and inspect materials for accuracy and quality
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery
What We’re Looking For:
1+ year operating panel saws, or similar wooden saw machinery
Ability to read measurements, cutting specifications, and technical drawings
Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred:
Experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or panel cutting
Familiarity with production workflows and material optimization
Work Environment:
Manufacturing and woodworking shop setting
Standing and operating machinery throughout your shift
Lifting materials up to 50 lbs
Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection
Exposure to wood dust and production materials
