Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Machine Operator workers for a thermal systems manufacturing company in Delano, MN. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality components that support safety, performance, and reliability across industries like automotive, trucking, and energy. What You’ll Do as a Machine Operator:- Operate and monitor machinery to produce parts according to specifications
- Inspect and test products using tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Perform minor preventative maintenance (check fluids, oil machines, etc.)
- Read prints and work instructions to ensure accurate production
- Set up and align tooling, dies, and fixtures in machine beds
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve production problems as they arise
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read prints, work orders, and follow instructions
- Basic computer skills and visual inspection ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without accommodations
- Willingness to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe shoes, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards preferred
