What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:- Operate and set up machines according to job specifications
- Work with fabrication equipment such as CNC machines, brake presses, lasers, and saws
- Perform quality checks on first articles and throughout production
- Monitor equipment and materials to identify defects or issues
- Enter production metrics to track output, quality, and downtime
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate to minimize disruptions
- Train and support team members within areas of expertise
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures
What You Need to Bring to the Machine Operator Role:- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions
- Use measuring tools and read a tape measure accurately
- Apply basic math skills for calculations and measurements
- Utilize basic computer skills for data entry and systems
- Possess 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
- Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
