Position Summary

Perform various finishing processes on plastic cards and sheets using specialized machinery. Ensure product quality and machine performance while contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and monitor quality and performance.
• Adjust machines using hand tools to maintain product quality.
• Complete paperwork and data entry as per ISO or departmental procedures.
• Review job specifications and ensure adherence to customer requirements.
• Communicate production, quality, or maintenance issues to team leaders.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist in other departments as needed.
• Participate in the plant-wide 5S continuous improvement program.

Requirements

• Ability to comprehend, speak, write, and read English.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and calipers.
• Ability to interpret and work from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Physical ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and ability to distinguish colors.

Preferences

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating production machinery.

Physical Demands

• Position located in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
• Safety shoes and possibly other protective equipment required.
