What You'll Do as a Machine Operator:- Program parts to be produced and cut on the plasma table
- Create piece-part nests to maximize material utilization and efficiency
- Operate the plasma table and related machinery as production demands require
- Read, interpret, and adjust complex drawings based on customer or job requirements
- Assist with scheduling and planning to meet production schedules
- Manage remnant materials and support inventory tracking
- Follow daily job work instructions and maintain compliance with production standards
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in work processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations
What You Need to Bring:- Experience operating production or CNC-style machinery; plasma table experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Strong math, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software or programming tools
- Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
- Ability to regularly lift and move more than 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
