Boring Operator - performs operational work related to setting up, operating and maintaining machinery on a boring line. To operate proficiently, individual must operate consistently at or above target production levels.Principal Responsibilities:
Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Set up equipment for production runs.
Monitor machine performance and product quality.
Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot downtime.
Inspect finished products for defects and perform QC inspections.
Complete production records and reports.
Participates and contributes to company safety program
Follow safety procedures and workplace regulations such as LOTO and proper PPE.
Perform routine cleaning.
Be able to read a tape measure and perform simple math.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
