POSITION: Machine Operator 2 - Nights
SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 pm - 4:30 am (additional OT Fridays as needed)
PAY RATE: $20.80 - 24.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience) + $2 shift differential pay + Full Benefits Package
LOCATION: Lubbock, TX
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment used for the fabrication of structural steel and tank products.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with the established JSA.
- Ability to competently operate a majority of equipment in an operational area, performing with accuracy, consistency, and with minimal supervision and rework.
- Ability to lead and direct groups of employees to successful task completion
- Perform effectively as a trainer and mentor to junior employees.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Utilize applicable tools and equipment relevant to operating the machine.
- Practice and promote Safety and Housekeeping.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.

- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

- Operating CNC equipment
- Working knowledge of basic lifting and rigging techniques.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED.
- One to two years of machine operation experience.
- The Machine Operator 2 must have fulfilled the requirements of the Machine Operator I position or shown that equivalent experience and knowledge has been gained by other means (previous employment, trade schools) to meet those requirements.
