Immediate opening for a Press Machine Operator in Gardena, CA who possesses:

• 2+ years of press machine operation experience
• 1+ year of mechanical or industrial experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Press Machine Operator to support machine operation within a shop environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating machinery, following workplace safety procedures, and working effectively with team members in a fast-paced industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have press machine operation experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a loud, hands-on shop environment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Setting up and operating machines in a shop environment
• Operating equipment that may include lathes, vertical boring mills, punch presses, threaders, grinders, and related machinery
• Following work instructions, production requirements, and safety procedures
• Understanding and complying with workplace safety regulations
• Working effectively with team members in a loud industrial environment
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Monitoring machine operation and reporting issues as needed
• Handling materials, parts, and tools as required for production
• Supporting daily shop and production needs as assigned

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 2+ years of press machine operation experience preferred
• 1+ year of mechanical or industrial experience required
• Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong attention to safety and quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle heavy objects, materials, parts, and tools for extended periods as needed
• Ability to work in a loud shop environment
• Ability to use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment
• Ability to work around industrial machines and follow all required safety procedures
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment as needed
• Ability to perform physically active work for the duration of the shift

Salary Range: $20 to $25/hour
