Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Our projects include industrial water recycling and cleaning up legacy cold war wastewater at government sites. Who You Are:

The machine operator will prepare production equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments, assisting with equipment changeovers.

• Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems, reporting production and quality data, reporting decisions made, and referring questions to the supervisor
• Ensures operation of equipment by following preventive maintenance policies and procedures, reporting needed changes and repairs as needed
• Must have ability to read orders, blueprints, and mill schedules to determine setup specifications, work sequences, product dimensions, and installation procedures
• Ability to ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards is critical

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of water jet, brake press, or using a plasma or laser table 
• Attention to detail
• Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly
• Responsiveness and adaptability to changes in the work environment
• Solid math skills and knowledge of sophisticated measuring and testing equipment
• Must understand pneumatic and hydraulic systems as they relate to fixtures and machines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent - additional education preferred
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting for extended periods, standing for extended periods, reading and walking
• Ability to work with multiple priorities
• Candidate must be able to pass drug test, background check, and physical
• Must be able to work with safe working practices

  This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Hours are from 4:00pm - 2:30am.
