Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Machine Operator – Wood Department (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Greenville, WI
Pay: $18.60/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (3-day weekends!)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Wood Department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and the potential for long-term placement. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
• Operate a variety of production equipment
• Inspect product quality using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers
• Accurately complete written production reports
• Sort boards in the end board sorting area
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Report production activities and issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or HSED (or equivalent experience)
• Basic math skills, including decimals and reading measurements
• Experience using calipers or similar measuring instruments preferred
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Willingness to become forklift certified if needed
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Strong attendance, dependability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work independently
