ProLogistix – is hiring on behalf of a leading manufacturing partner in Gurnee, IL for an Experienced MachineOperator.
Schedule: 2:00pm to 10:30pm Monday - Friday
Payrate: $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate filling lines based on production orders while following established procedures
- Adjust equipment, perform minor repairs, and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime
- Inspect materials and monitor production to ensure quality standards and accurate fill levels are met
- Complete required GMP documentation and production records accurately and on time
- Verify correct materials are used and report/isolate any non-conforming product
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and productivity standards, including supporting team training and operating material handling equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to perform machine change overs and trouble-shooting of machine issues
- Basic math skills with strong mechanical aptitude and prior hands-on experience
- Proven experience operating filling and packaging equipment preferred
- Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented approach
