Overnight Machine Operator
Location: Plano, TX 75074
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

SCHEDULE:

Night Shift: Thursday–Saturday + alternating Wednesdays
Hours: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Please note: One week you work 36 hours the next you work 48 hours. 

Join a growing manufacturing team as a Overnight Machine Operator in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for experienced operators with a strong mechanical aptitude who are comfortable operating high-speed manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for the Overnight Machine Operator will include:

• Operate high-speed production and packaging equipment, including VFFS and automated pouching/canning lines.
• Perform equipment setups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical adjustments.
• Monitor production to ensure quality, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
• Conduct quality inspections and complete required production documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP and food safety standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage, and support production goals.
• Assist with training and mentoring new operators as needed.

To qualify for the Overnight Machine Operator, you must have at least 2 years of machine operating experience in manufacturing in food, packaging or GMP environment. 

• Minimum of 2 years of machine operating experience in a food manufacturing, packaging, or GMP environment.
• Experience operating high-speed filling, packaging, or labeling equipment.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Previous leadership or training experience is a plus.
