We're Looking For A: Machine Operator
* Opportunities available on 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm)
* $21+ per hour
What You'll Be Doing
- Set up and operate several production machine tools throughout the production process
- Learn and operate assigned machinery within the manufacturing plant
- Perform safety checks throughout shift
- Adjust machine components according to finished product specifications
- Troubleshoot problems during operations and adjust machine in case of malfunctions or jams
- Clean machine and assist in performing preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safety and quality mindset, following all safety and quality policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience with operating machinery
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience working with an ERP system, within a food or pet food manufacturing facility, and/or working with PLC interfaces is preferred but not required
- Constant standing, walking, reaching with hands and stooping/kneeling is required
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong teamwork mentality and eager to work in a team environment
