The Machine Operator - Paint is responsible for operating powdercoat (blades) and liquid (holesaw) paint equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Set up, operate, and shut down paint line
+ Able to work in dust, vapors, etc.
+ Load/unload paint line with product
+ Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
+ Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
+ Use paint thickness gauge to verify paint thickness
+ Hone turnover belt (powder application)
+ Perform daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) on paint line equipment
+ Inspect, clean, and change out tips on paint guns
+ Perform frequent walk-throughs to ensure equipment is operating properly
+ Change out and add paint as required
+ Check and clean re-claim hoppers
+ Maintain production pace and standards
+ Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
+ Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
+ Basic math skills
+ Basic mechanical skills
Education and Experience Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 1 year of machine operation experience preferred
