Assembler — Urgently hiring in Irvine!

Job Title: Assembler
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As an Assembler, you'll be responsible for the precise manual assembly of intricate lighting components, lamps, and power supply units. You’ll work within a dedicated production team to follow detailed blueprints and uphold quality standards, ensuring each product meets our strict specifications.

What You’ll Do

As a, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing manual assembly of small to medium-sized parts using hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers) and power tools.
  • Reading and interpreting work orders, technical drawings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accurate builds.
  • Conducting visual inspections of components and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Performing basic soldering and wiring to connect electrical components within the housing (when applicable).
  • Maintaining accurate production logs and equipment maintenance records in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and suggest process improvements.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • 1–3 years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly (experience in a cleanroom or highly regulated environment is a plus).
  • Ability to read schematics or assembly drawings, along with basic computer literacy for data entry.
  • High level of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate components.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and “Right First Time” quality principles.
  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours, manipulate small parts with fine motor skills, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
