Machine Operator A/B

Schedule:

7AM - 3:30PM & 3:30PM - 12:00AM

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting with and operating stamping equipment, including single-stroke presses, while inspecting finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. The Machine Operator is authorized to stop production and report to management when defective product is identified.

• Bilingual skills preferred

Responsibilities:

• Operate and/or assist with stamping machines and single-stroke presses.
• Produce quality parts and inspect products against approved first-piece samples and/or quality gauges.
• Complete operator check sheets hourly and as instructed.
• Maintain the required production rate for each assigned job.
• Accurately use the PLEX system to record time, production, and inspection information.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Stop production and promptly report defective product to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report unsafe working conditions to the direct supervisor or manager.
• Participate in the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Team on 1st and 2nd shifts, when applicable.
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including General ODM Rules, Safety Rules, Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery requirements, and Ethics Escalation procedures.
• Protect the proprietary information and rights of ODM, its customers, and suppliers at all times

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Ability to take direction and follow instructions effectively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
