Run various operator jobs at rate while maintaining safety and quality standards; comprehend packaging instructions; inspect and pack parts per instructions at rate; load and unload press at rate; assemble containers; lube parts as required; and perform 5S and housekeeping upkeep.
Adhere to and maintain all safety rules, regulations, and standards.
Ensure all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Ensure production goals are met.
Separate scrap materials from trash and place in appropriate bins.
Upon completing daily tasks, clean the entire work area and ensure it is free of clutter and debris.
Adhere to all SSP policies, procedures, and practices and follow supervisor directives consistently, respectfully, professionally, and effectively in a manner reflecting the quality expectations and standards of SSP.
Requirements
Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand, and repetitively lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout the assigned work shift.
Moderate physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and grasping.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions/directions in English.
Must be willing to consistently wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.
Ability and desire to perform other duties as assigned related to the scope and nature of the business.
