Machine Operator Assistant

Location: Springfield, MO
Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities:

• Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment
• Monitor production quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting using hand tools
• Accurately document production data, downtime, and maintenance using computer systems
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues and meet production goals
• Follow instructions closely and maintain strong attention to detail to support on-time delivery
• Assist in the production of quality products, timely, and safely
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and processes

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting or individually
• Minimum 2 years of proven and consistent work background
• Ability to work any shift in a 3-shift environment as well as up to 4 hours overtime either before or after scheduled shift up to 12 hours (both daily and/or weekend)
• Consistent and dependable attendance
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in manufacturing process
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, involving lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs., navigate stairs, stand, walk, and bend throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Skills:

• Prior full line manufacturing experience is preferred
