Machine Operator Assistant

Location: Springfield, MO
Duration: 6 Months
Shift: 1st shift - 7am – 3pm, 2nd shift - 3pm – 11pm, 3rd shift - 11pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Assist with machine setup, calibration, and operation of manufacturing equipment
• Monitor production quality to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting using hand tools
• Accurately document production data, downtime, and maintenance using computer systems
• Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues and meet production goals
• Assist in the production of quality products, timely, and safely
• Demonstrate daily the company's values of Safety, Loyalty, Integrity, and Respect
• Collaborate with others to learn, understand, and train others in the processes of the company
• Promote a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and processes to ensure you and your fellow team members return home safely each day

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team setting or individually depending on the assigned position
• Minimum 2 years proven and consistent work background
• Ability to work any shift in a 3-shift environment as well as up to 4 hours overtime either before or after scheduled shift up to 12 hours (both daily and/or weekend)
• Consistent and dependable attendance
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is hot and humid in the Summer/Fall
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math used in the manufacturing process
• Ability to perform repetitive motions, involving lifting, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., navigating stairs, standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire shift with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Skills:

• Prior full line manufacturing experience
