As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for handling the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery to produce high-quality products. You will also monitor production processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality guidelines. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Set up machines (e.g., calibration, cleaning, adjustments) to start production cycles.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
Monitor machine operations and identify any irregularities or malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
Adhere to all workplace safety standards and regulations.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize productivity.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role.
Familiarity with machinery and mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when required.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
