Role Description The Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bardstown, KY, responsible for operating excavation and construction machinery safely and efficiently. Daily tasks include operating heavy equipment and hand tools to complete digging, grading, and site preparation, following project plans and supervisor direction. The role involves conducting basic equipment inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and supporting quality control by checking work against specifications. The Machine Operator will work closely with crew members, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies. This position may require working in varying weather conditions and performing physically active tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to operate construction and excavation equipment, with skills in Machine Operation and familiarity with common Machinery used on job sites.

• Experience using Hand Tools and related equipment safely and effectively in a construction or excavation setting.

• Understanding of Quality Control practices, including checking completed work against plans and project requirements.

• Strong Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, crew members, and other site personnel.

• Knowledge of basic safety practices and regulations relevant to construction and excavation work.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, lifting, and working outdoors for extended periods.

• Previous experience in construction, excavation, or a related field is preferred.
