Machine Operator

Job Title: Kitting Machine Operator
Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor kitting and packaging machinery.
• Set up machines and changeovers between shifts and product batches.
• Load raw materials into packaging machines, baggers, and label printers.
• Calibrate and clean machines before production.
• Adjust machine settings, including speed and labeling functions.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and quality issues.
• Perform spot checks on finished products.
• Document approved and defective units and maintain production logs.
• Remove packaging waste and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• At least 1 year of machine operating experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required; must be able to complete forklift training.
• Ability to read work orders, instructions, and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures.
