Machine Operator (Full-Time)
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain simple and complex industrial machinery.
Equipment Care: Clean production machinery and remain responsible for company-provided tools.
Material Handling: Supply production lines and store materials using a sit-down forklift.
Logistics & Prep: Clean boxes, lids, and skids thoroughly before staging them.
Documentation: Complete quality control logs, production ledgers, and box tickets legibly.
Basic Math: Compute material weights accurately using gross, tare, and net calculations.
Collaboration: Participate in shift meetings, training sessions, and communicate with coworkers.
Forklift Experience: Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is mandatory.
Physical Fitness: Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 65 pounds.
Mobility: Stand, walk, stoop, and bend 80% of the shift.
Stamina: Get on and off forklifts repeatedly and stand for long periods.
Technical Skills: Proficient using calculators, adding machines, and industrial scales.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and work under deadline pressure.
Certification: Valid Forklift Certification is highly preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Pay: From $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 schedule
