Job Title: Machine Operator


Job Description


+ Complete delegated tasks on the production line and in the manufacturing area with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Handle scrap materials responsibly, ensuring proper collection, sorting, and disposal according to company procedures and safety standards.

+ Receive materials correctly by verifying quantities, identifying products, and documenting receipts as required.

+ Handle inventory safely and efficiently, including moving, staging, and organizing materials to support continuous production.

+ Store materials properly to maintain product quality, prevent damage, and ensure easy access for production needs.

+ Support the production of quality products by following established processes, instructions, and safety guidelines.

+ Work closely with the Material Handler and Raw Materials Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of materials to the production line.

+ Assist with loading and unloading materials, including replenishing supplies and staging products for production or shipment.


Essential Skills


+ At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production environments.

+ Experience working on production lines or in general labor roles within manufacturing.

+ Ability to perform material handling tasks such as replenishment, unloading, and loading.

+ Capability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including flexibility for various shifts as needed.

+ Familiarity with machine operation in a manufacturing or production setting.


Additional Skills & Qualifications


+ Experience in plastic manufacturing or related production environments.

+ Experience in operating manufacturing machinery or production equipment.

+ Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.

+ Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and responsibilities as the operation grows.

+ Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting attendance and performance expectations.


Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Smithsville, PA.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50/hr.
