JOB TITLE: Machine Operator
LOCATION: Kinston, NC
PAY RATE: $28/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:
- Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

- Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to produce aerospace parts and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering drawings
- Perform machining operations such as milling, drilling, grinding, boring, honing, and deburring
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect and maintain quality standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance including coolant, lubrication, and filter checks
- Follow OSHA, safety, FOD, and quality procedures
- Move materials/products within the manufacturing area as needed
- Support team workflow and assist with training other employees
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR regulations)
- Minimum 3 years of machine operator experience
- Basic CNC and machine operation knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Willingness to work any shift and overtime as required
- High School Diploma or GED required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of aviation or aerospace manufacturing experience
- Vocational training or apprenticeship in machining operations
