Summary:
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to manufacture aerospace parts and assemblies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
- Perform machining tasks such as milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, and deburring.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor product quality and follow safety, OSHA, and FOD requirements.
- Perform basic machine maintenance including coolant, lubrication, and filter checks.
- Move materials/products within the work area and support production flow.
- Assist with training team members and support continuous manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under ITAR regulations).
- High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.
- Minimum 3 years of machine operator experience.
- Basic machine operation and blueprint-reading skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety, and quality standards.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic shop math.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
