We are building a pipeline of skilled Machine Operators to support our growing PCB Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing operations. This allows us to connect with experienced operators across multiple production areas including:
Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
Through-Hole Assembly
Conformal Coating
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
X-Ray Inspection (AXI/2DX)
Selective Soldering
Wave Solder
Depanelization & Secondary Operations
As a Machine Operator, you will operate, monitor, and support automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment used to assemble high-reliability printed circuit boards. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, throughput, and process stability in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Qualified candidates may be considered for current or future openings aligned with their experience and skillset.
Set up, operate, and monitor automated or semi-automated PCB manufacturing equipment.
Load/unload PCB assemblies, components, and materials according to work instructions.
Select and verify correct programs, tooling, and job travelers prior to production.
Monitor machine performance and respond to alarms or process deviations.
Perform changeovers, feeder loading, fixture setup, or material replenishment as required.
Support line clearance and job transitions between builds.
Perform in-process inspections using magnification, microscopes, UV light, AOI systems, or X-ray systems as applicable.
Identify defects such as misplacement, solder bridges, insufficient solder, coating skips, voiding, alignment errors, or component polarity issues.
Document and escalate quality concerns in accordance with internal procedures.
Support minor rework or touch-up operations if trained and authorized.
Accurately complete production travelers, inspection logs, and quality checklists.
Record lot traceability, machine settings, downtime, and scrap data as required.
Participate in shift handoffs and communicate build status, issues, or risks.
Follow all work instructions, process documentation, and revision controls.
Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance tasks.
Maintain feeders, fixtures, coating nozzles, inspection stations, and related tooling.
Ensure proper storage and handling of materials including solder paste, components, coatings, and chemicals.
Maintain 5S standards in assigned work areas.
Experience operating manufacturing equipment in a PCB or electronics assembly environment.
Familiarity with one or more of the following:
SMT pick-and-place systems
Reflow or wave solder equipment
Selective solder machines
Conformal coating systems
AOI or X-ray inspection systems
Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production travelers.
Understanding of IPC-A-610 workmanship standards (certification a plus).
Experience in high-reliability, aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing environments is highly valued.
Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with automated systems.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Willingness to cross-train across multiple manufacturing areas.
Safety-conscious and compliant with ESD controls and chemical handling procedures.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
Frequent use of fine motor skills for handling PCB assemblies and components.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
