What Were Looking For

  • Experience operating manufacturing machinery (1-2 years preferred)
  • Experience with CNC equipment, laser cutting machines, or hydraulic presses preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for production data entry preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

What Youll Do as a Part-Time Machine Operator

  • Operate and monitor CNC routers, laser cutting machines, and hydraulic presses to produce parts according to specifications
  • Set up equipment based on job requirements, including configuring CNC programs and adjusting machine settings
  • Load, unload, and feed raw materials into machines while verifying material quality
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and report complex mechanical problems to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output quantities, quality checks, and downtime
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
  • Assist with training new operators and support continuous process improvements
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment in the manufacturing environment
