Client Overview

This is a hands on manufacturing environment that makes industrial parts and equipment. You'll work in a shop setting building and fixing parts using saws, presses, grinders, and hand tools.

What You'll Do

• Build parts and assemblies using drawings and instructions
• Set up work using guides and fixtures to cut and shape parts
• Get parts ready and organized for the next step in the process
• Check finished parts against drawings to make sure they match
• Report problems with parts and help fix them
• Set aside any parts that don't meet standards
• Take care of tools and equipment
• Join team meetings when needed
• Help train other team members and learn from them

Top 3 Skills

• Fabrication and assembly using hand tools and shop equipment
• Machine operation, including saws, presses, grinders, and drills
• Blueprint and measurement reading, including tape measures and BOMs

What We Need From You

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years in production fabrication or similar work
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, or sit for long stretches
• Basic math and reading skills, and able to read a tape measure with fractions and decimals

Preferred / Bonus

• Welding certification
• CNC programming experience
• Experience with complex tooling or process adjustments
