Job Title: Machine Operator Division: Ransohoff Department: Manufacturing Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt Build Something That Matters We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with advanced machinery to shape, cut, and prepare steel components that play a critical role in our production process. What You’ll Do As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the core of our operations. Your responsibilities will include: -Operating a variety of machines to cut, shear, punch, tap, drill, and shape steel -Reading and interpreting blueprints to ensure accurate production -Performing processes such as cutting, rolling, threading, and drilling materials -Monitoring steel inventory and coordinating restocking with your supervisor -Operating equipment such as cranes and tow motors to move materials safely -Loading and unloading steel deliveries efficiently -Maintaining scrap materials and keeping your workspace organized -(Metal Processing Area) Operating specialized equipment like press brakes and lasers -Supporting team members and assisting with training when needed What We’re Looking For -High school diploma or equivalent -Two to four years of hands-on manufacturing or factory experience -Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot basic process issues -Familiarity with CNC equipment and basic computer skills -Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical Requirements This is an active role that requires you to: -Stand for extended periods on a concrete floor -Bend, kneel, squat, climb, and lift regularly -Lift up to 70 lbs independently (or more with assistance) -Maintain strong visual focus and awareness in a busy environment Work Environment -Traditional manufacturing shop setting -Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the season -Loud noise levels and occasional fumes or odors -Safety equipment is required and provided Schedule & Expectations -Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00am-4:30pm -Opportunity for overtime on Fridays and some weekends as needed -Willingness to work overtime (50–60 hours/week as needed) Why Join Us?
