Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery according to work instructions and safety procedures.
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production efficiency.
Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other inspection tools to verify product dimensions.
Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure parts meet blueprint and drawing specifications.
Deburr machined parts using hand tools and other finishing equipment.
Perform operational checks on machines, tools, and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or production concerns to supervisors.
Complete production documentation accurately and maintain quality records.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following 5S and safety standards.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing guidelines.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience operating machines in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Experience deburring machined parts.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make minor machine adjustments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
Experience working in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
